The Three “Dainty” Ladies. Zoey, me and Savannah.
Loving and taking care of yourself is not a sin. Being fashionable is not a sin either. And influencing your kids to do the same is in fact, one of the best gift a mom can give to their daughters.
As early as 4 years old Savannah already knows how to do her makeup. (I’m not kidding!). And 8 years old Zoey knows how to draw a pretty dress with her own design.
And their clothes, they get to pick it themselves. Same goes for their shoes. I trust their taste too much. I should know coz they love browsing fashion magazines. They even adore Kate Moss and loves Vogue Summer Edition.
Lookie here, Savannah and her gorgeous mane. I’m so proud of it.
Savannah and her favorite shop Club Princess
Zoey also loves shopping. Her feet never gets tired and she never complain!
I teach them to be different. To be confident and love what God gave them.
I don’t want them to grow up with insecurities. Unfortunately every generation seems to start a little earlier in the great quest to become just like everybody else.
I tell them to be contented on what they have. And learn to appreciate the things around them.
You may give them your love but not your thoughts, for they have their own thoughts. You may house their bodies but not their souls, for their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
